Available for purchase is this 1968 Gibson Country Western, being offered by the original owner with original case. This instrument has been set up for optimal playing as well as inspected for defect and overall condition by Gabriel's Guitars, Tucson's Guitar Repair Experts. The instrument will be professionally prepared for shipping.

This instrument has undergone a recent overhaul to bring this vintage instrument into optimal condition. Work recently performed includes a few small crack repairs, bridge reglue, reseating the fingerboard, binding stabilization, refret with fingerboard plaining, and Setup. It is now playing beautifully and is extremely comfortable to play with an outstanding tonal quality. Everything you could possibly want in a player's instrument from this era of classic Gibson Guitars. 

This guitar is in very good condition, especially considering its age. As mentioned, it is being sold by its original owner who has loved and cared for it all these years. There are various dings, dents and scratches around the guitar from normal playing wear and tear. The original binding is cracking around the instrument, and the customer opted to stabilize the original binding rather than rebinding the whole instrument.  

Action set to E: 3/32 e: 5/64, with 12 gauge phosphor bronze strings. Perfect for Folk-style strumming or fingerpicking. Action could be made lower with additional setup which can be performed by Gabriel's Guitars at additional cost, please inquire if interested. 

This instrument comes with original semi-hardshell case.
